Chapter 2
practice goes wrong
Daiskay awoke to bickering, "what am I going to do!" cried a female voice. "well I told you not to practice at school, but no." sarcasticly replied a deep male voice. Daiskay tried to open eyes but couldn't. "how was I supposed to know this would happen?" the female whined, "maybe if you paid attention in devenations you would have a clue" scoffed the male voice "you are not helping," grumbled the female "check the manual, there I helped" sighed the male, not pleased. "oh yes!" chirped the female happily.
Daiskay tried again with all his strength to open his eyes but couldn't. So he tried speaking instead, but that wasn't working either! All he could do was listen to the voices, he thought he was dead.
The female read out loud,
Finding the human form of your familiar. Note: only to be used on animal familiars, never on humans! After using spell 147 place wand on familiar. Familiar will turn back to original form after one moon if this does not happen chant spell 377 with supervision.
The male laughed "well that is it then, chant spell 377",
"but the manual said never on a human, are you sure it will work?" inquisition the female
the male replied " you can't screw him up anymore then you already did!"
"are you sure? Shouldn't I go to the teacher?"
"we will do that later if the spell doesn't work."
Daiskay heard footsteps and page flipping , chanting in a strange language and that same warm feeling encompassed his body. "look he is glowing," said the female in wonder. "I think it isn't working," sighed the male. Daiskay suddenly was flooded with light and could hear better. He saw a girl and a cat hovering over him. Talking was still not a possibility but movement was, he got up and saw he was on a desk and his body didn't feel right. He looked at his hands, they where triangles! what was going on?!?
"he can move!" said the girl, "he can also see or he wouldn't swiveling like that, try spell 75 I think it should work." said the cat off handed. To Daiskay a talking call was so unreal that, he just stared at it forgetting all his other worries. The warmth from before filled his body then the cat asked him sarcastically "well can you say something?" the only phrase that left his mouth was "you can talk?" The cat looked at him and laughed, "he is a funny human, good job Nana!"
"no, this is not a good job," she whined "how do I turn him back Ryo? I really don't want to tell the teacher!" tears started to form. "calm down, it was an accident and I am sure he will understand. Remember he likes sweets, bake him a cake, and tell him" nodded the cat. Nana smiled and spinned to face Daiskay, "Sorry about all this, hello my name is Nana and I will try to get you back to normal as soon as possibe."
